Follw the link to see what makes these gals Top 5 material...

      Britney
Homegirl is blowin’ up the charts right now with her new album Femme Fatale.  She is the only female artist in history to have SIX albums debut at #1.  She is also the youngest artist in history to have #1 albums spanning three different decades.  Recently, Britney announced that badass chick Nicki Minaj (see #2) will be joining her on her North American tour this summer.  These two together, it gives me chills.  I can’t even imagine the level of fabulosity they will bring to the stage.  It’s gonna be sugar n’ spice y’all!

Britney perseveres.  Plain and simple.  She has been through a lot; to the darkest place and back.  Through it all she has remained a real person.  I absolutely love when she goes out in messy hair, cutoff jean shorts, and flip flops…that is real!  Who, in the real world, goes to grab Starbucks in couture?  I love Britney so much for overcoming her demons, not losing her countriness in the middle of Hollywood, being a devoted mother, and a fierce femme fatale.

Nicki Minaj
I have a hard time explaining just how much I love this girl.  Because I do.  So much.  I LOVE her.  I love her music, I love her style, I love her attitude.  I love that in an industry dominated my male artists and male egos, this chick can come in and rock the the shit out of the scene.

“I always wanted to play with the boys.  I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role.  I wanted to be more of a lead character – a superhero.”

Nicki is everywhere right now and I couldn’t be happier about it.  She is unique and fresh, plus she has a killer ass.  Have you seen that ass!?  She is going to bring the Britney tour to a whole new level.  Nicki’s not going anywhere, so get used to it (Scott)!

Adele
You don’t really need words for this girl, you just need to listen.  I cannot stop listening to Rolling in the Deep and the rest of her album, 21, is just as beautiful and haunting.  Adele has pure, genuine talent and an awesome attitude to match.  Basically, she’s the shit.

“My life is full of drama and I won’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like.  I don’t like going to the gym.  I like eating fine food and drinking nice wine.  Even if I had a really good figure, I don’t think I’d get my a** and t**s out for no one…I don’t make music for eyes, I make music for ears.”

Hell yes.

Tina Fey
I haven’t read Tina Fey’s new book Bossypants, but I have heard raving reviews and warnings about not being able to put it down and laughing out loud in public places.   It’s next on my reading list and I am stoked.  She is so smart and so funny and so unapologetic and obviously a great role model.  And she is friends with Amy Poehler; I can’t even imagine the amount of giggles with that duo, I almost pee my pants just thinking about it.  And she also happens to looks amazing pregnant!

Courteney Cox
I have always been a fan of Courtney, but lately I have been so impressed with her.  First of all, I love Cougar Town.  I know that is a topic of debate for some people, but I think it’s a lot of fun and a really cute show.  But what I love most about Courteney right now is the grace in which she is handling her douchey husband.  He is doing all sorts of interviews, talking about personal details of their lives, telling people he tried to bang her and she turned him down.  This is what he said:

“Listen, I tried to f*** her and she doesn’t even want me.”

Duh.  What an idiot.  I am amazed that she stayed with him for so long.  That alone should make you admire her.  I used to like them together, but then he opened his mouth all of a sudden I felt really sorry for all the babysitting that she must have been doing during her marriage.  Anyhow, she looks great, she looks happy, she is a great mom, and she has always kept it classy.  She will be fine with or without her manchild hubby.

Leave Comments if you have suggestions for next month's list and make sure you tell me why!
